A gift for times of hardship
According to the Prophet Muhammed (SAW), Fatimah (RA) was among the four women who perfected their faith. In this regard, she is in the company of Mariam (RA), Asiyah (RA), and Khadijah (RA).
No one resembled the Prophet Muhammed (SAW) like Fatimah (RA), whether it was in the way she walked, her mannerisms, her morals, and her personality.
According to our mother, Aisha (RA), Fatima's (RA) walk resembled that of the Prophet (SAW). And said that "he used to say to her, 'Welcome, my daughter!' Then he would have her sit down on his right or his left."
She was the mother of Hassan (RA) and Hussain (RA). And because she was so caring for the Prophet Muhammad (SAW), during the toughest of times, she was also known as Umm Abiha, the mother of the father. According to the Prophet (SAW) Fathima (RA) will be the leader of the women of paradise.
The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) rejected proposal from great sahaba such as Abu Bakr (RA) and Umar (RA), but he chose Ali (RA). At the time of the proposal Ali (RA) did not have anything of value except for the shield he possessed, which was purchased by Uthman (RA) for the value of the Mahr, and then returned as a wedding gift.
Despite being the daughter of the Messenger of Allah (SAW), she lived a simple life. One day when Ali (RA) saw that her hands were left with marks due to the hardships at home. He went to the Messenger of Allah (SAW) and asked for a servant. The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) came to their house, sat down with them and said, "Shall I not tell you of something that is better for you than that? Say Subhanallah thirty-three times, Allahu Akbar thirty-three times and Alhamdulillah thirty-three times; one of them thirty-four times", when going to sleep.
What a beautiful gift this is for us from the Prophet Muhammad (SAW), to help us during times of hardship.
Dhikr for times of hardship. Subhanallah, Alhamdulillah, and Allahu Akbar.
Do you think you will be admitted into Paradise without being tested like those before you? They were afflicted with suffering and adversity and were so ˹violently˺ shaken that ˹even˺ the Messenger and the believers with him cried out, “When will Allah’s help come?” Indeed, Allah’s help is ˹always˺ near.
